Breanna Carlson

Breanna Carlson is co-founder and partner of CarlsonCarson.  She holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and a Master of Architecture with Distinction from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.  Her undergraduate work culminated in a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture Summa Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota.  In 2006, Breanna founded her own multi-disciplinary design firm, bSTUDIO- a New York City based multi-disciplinary practice with projects ranging in scale from 500,000 SF multi-story international commercial office complexes to 500 SF residential renovations in New York.  Prior to bSTUDIO, she spent years designing and administering the construction of residential, retail, commercial, and exhibition projects while working as a project manager in notable architectural firms.  Over the past decade, she has continuously taught architecture and interior design studios and lecture courses at universities in the US and abroad and has spent years training in jewelry design and metalsmithing.  She is currently an adjunct professor of interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and has been a critic and lecturer in New York, Los Angeles, London, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Iceland.
