This really simple Grasshopper definition is for those that which to capture the intersection of two surfaces or geometries over time, in essence a 4D intersection.
The idea is that an intersection between two moving spatial conditions would never result in a single section but rather a flow or continuum.

Attached at the bottom of this page is a simple grasshopper definition that allows you to capture the intersections through time.
Highlighted in the image above are the components that interest you. The record component will record all the intersecting moments for you and keep them. You can then bake this components to get the curve out into rhino.
The resolution (or spacing) of the intersections has to do with the timeline "Animation". When you animation the timeline the 'record' node will record the curves from each frame. So, if you animation 400 frames you will end up with 400 curves.
